Come and Sing in A Day
Come to Alicante to take part in this special one-off musical day culminating in a performance of Vivaldi’s fantastic choral work Gloria.
Rehearsals will take part though the day going though covering all of the choral movements with a mid morning and lunch break.
Singers of all ability are welcome to take part and rehearsal material will be sent out to all taking part so they can start to experience the music before the day.
Rehearsals will be multilingual in both Spanish and English.

Conductor
John es un músico local afincado en la Nucía. Es el Director Musical del Coro de Voces Masculinas de la Costa Blanca, del Coro Rock de Denia, del Coro Inglés de Teulada y del Coro de Cámara 152.8, además de ser solista de bajo. También canta con el Coro de Cámara Contrapunctum.John se formó en el Real Conservatorio de Birmingham como cantante de primer estudio y posteriormente con el especialista en barítonos de la Real Academia de Música Glenville Hargreaves.

Contrapunctum es un coro de cámara formado por un variado abanico de músicos profesionales y devotos seguidores de la música, que tienen en común el entusiasmo por la música del Renacimiento y, en algunos casos, por la música medieval. El Coro se fundó en febrero de 2005 con el único objetivo de disfrutar de la música de esta época y, de este modo, acercar el Renacimiento a su público.Contrapunctum actuará durante 20 minutos antes de la interpretación del Réquiem.
